Italy’s d’Amico International Shipping (DIS) has six more leased-in vessels it can acquire for bargain prices, but the owner is staying cautious over debt levels.
The Milan-listed company has been taking advantage of rising asset prices this year to declare purchase options for ships it charters in.
Chief executive Paolo d’Amico told TradeWinds: “We still have six ships we can buy back and we are looking at this for next year.”
