Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps have reportedly seized a Panamanian-flagged tanker over allegations it was smuggling oil.
The unnamed ship was detained in the Middle East Gulf, according to reports from Germany's DW and the US-backed Radio Free Europe.
It was allegedly transporting 300 tonnes of illegal oil.
DW said the crew members, described as foreign nationals, were taken to the prosecutors office in Parsian, a city near the coastline and roughly 354 km west of the Strait of Hormuz.
