Iran has doubled down on its rejection of solving via diplomatic channels the seizure of a South Korean chemical tanker it has accused of pollution offences.
It has rejected an offer by Qatar to act as mediator between Iran and South Korea over the 17,400-dwt chemical tanker Hankuk Chemi (built 2020), which was seized by Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corp on 4 January 2021.
