International Seaways believes a $434m deal for six Gener8 Maritime VLCCs will “substantially complete” its fleet renewal efforts.
New York-listed International Seaways will have spent over $600m on nine modern VLCCs and suezmaxes since its separation from Overseas Shipholding Group when it closes the transaction in the coming quarter.
