Shipping Corp of India (SCI) is finally set for decent rates on two LR2 tankers after chartering out the duo amid a flurry of new term fixtures for Indian shipowners.
European brokers said the 104,900-dwt Swarna Jayanti (built 2010) is fixed by Petro Diamond for eight months at $20,500 per day, with an option for a further six months at $23,000 per day.
