Gatik Ship Management, an Indian tanker operator founded in March, has added an LR2 that has just been sold by Indonesia’s Buana Lintas Lautan (BULL).
The 109,700-dwt product tanker Lionheart (built 2008) is the fourth tanker to join the roster of ships operated by the Mumbai-based company via Marshall Islands-registered special purpose vehicles (SPVs) over the past four months.
Augusta Shipping, one of these SPVs, became the registered owner of the Lionheart this week.
