Indian shipowner Seven Islands Shipping has been boosting its MR tanker fleet in a series of secondhand deals.
Chief executive Clayton Pinto told TradeWinds that the private company has taken delivery of three clean tankers in recent weeks.
The latest acquisition is the 48,000-dwt Vanda (built 2009), bought from an unknown owner for $23.5m.
