Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD) has racked up a deal for at least five medium-range (MR) products tankers from a trio of Japanese owners.
Fukujin Kisen, Masumoto Shipping and Hisamoto Kisen have all booked newbuildings at the South Korean yard, some of which are destined for the growing tanker fleet of Danish outfit Norden.
Shipping sources say Fukujin Kisen and Masumoto Shipping have signed up for two newbuildings each.
