Hyundai Heavy Industries Group has confirmed orders for two suezmax tanker newbuildings, but the identity of the buyer remains a mystery.
The two 158,000-dwt ships have been ordered at a combined cost of KRW 149.8bn ($122.9m), the shipbuilder said in a regulatory filing.
The price secured by the shipyard looks to be slightly ahead of current newbuilding prices with Affinity (Shipping) quoting $58.5m
