Howe Robinson says it will join a management committee for the Worldscale Association, which maintains the most widely used freight rates in tanker markets.
Howe Robinson, which has some 300 shipbrokers in 12 different countries, will be part of the London-based management committee. Its responsibility is the production and distribution of the annual Worldscale publication.
Worldscale's London chairman David Insole said: "We welcome Howe Robinson onto the Worldscale Management Committee, as one of the largest shipbrokers with offices worldwide, Howe Robinson will bring their own guidance and experience to the Association."
