Offshore domiciles like the Cayman Islands have been a hot topic in Norway recently, with controversy over the new head of the country's sovereign wealth fund having registered some of his hedge fund interests in the tax haven.
It looks like shipowner Herbjorn Hansson, founder and chief executive of Nordic American Tankers (NAT), has been drawn into the fray.
Hansson, 72, recently appeared on a primetime interview show on NRK, the Norwegian broadcasting corporation.
