A VLCC controlled by Hartree Maritime Partners has finally been sold in a deal that will likely raise price expectations for owners of large tanker tonnage considering selling their vessels in the current strong market.
Brokers and tanker market sources told TradeWinds that the sale of the 300,000-dwt newbuilding Ghillie, which is the first of Hartree Maritime’s four newbuildings at DSME, has been concluded.
