Nicholas Inglessis and daughters Ismini and Alexia have separated their interests from traditional family company Samos Steamship to establish a new outfit that has made its first purchase.
The venture, Alberta Shipmanagement, was formally registered with Greek authorities in March. It is understood to have begun operations during the summer in new offices in the Athens suburb of Chalandri.
Alberta Shipmanagement began life with a mixed fleet of four tankers and three bulkers previously managed by Samos Steamship, which is led by Antonis Inglessis and Yannis Inglessis.
