Mikael Skov’s Hafnia Tankers has boosted its cash position with a sale and leaseback for an LR1 tanker.
The Danish owner has sold the 75,000-dwt Hafnia Australia (built 2010) to a private Japanese shipowner.
Hafnia has chartered the ship back on a 12-year bareboat deal with purchase options from year four.
