Mikael Skov’s Hafnia Tankers has officially opened the door to a merger with long-time IPO hopeful BW Tankers in a deal that would create a $2bn products fleet.
BW became a major shareholder in Oslo over the counter listed Hafnia in July after buying shares previously held by core investors Blackstone, Tufton Oceanic and Hartmann.
