Improving rates could lead to the disposal of modern stainless steel tankers alongside older ships, Hafnia has revealed.
The Singapore product tanker specialist added eight 25,000-dwt Japanese-built carriers to its fleet when it took over Oaktree’s Chemical Tankers Inc and its 32 chemical ships last year.
The vessels are currently the group’s smallest and were built in 2016 and 2017.
