South Korean owner Hyundai Glovis has fixed out its new VLCC in a deal worth KRW 210bn ($178m).
The shipping arm of Hyundai Motor Group said the 10-year charter will see it carry crude from the Middle East for domestic refiner GS Caltex's southern plant.
The 300,000-dwt ship is due next month from Hyundai Samho in South Korea.
It will be named V Progress and is the group's only large tanker.
