Nasdaq-listed Grindrod Shipping has revealed it is booking an impairment on two MR tankers offloaded this year.
The Singapore-based shipowner said the 40,000-dwt Rhino (built 2010) and Inyala (built 2008) have been sold for $15.3m and $14.5m, respectively.
The MR tankers were disposed of in two separate transactions, the company added, without revealing the buyers.
