Greek shipbroker Intermodal believes a “remarkable” sale-and-purchase scene so far in 2022 has some legs in its yet.
The company has tallied secondhand deals in the tanker and bulker sectors over the first three quarters and come up with a combined figure of between 1,050 and 1,100 vessels. These units total about 85m dwt.
The Greek shop believes a total of 525 tankers and about 550 bulkers have changed hands to 30 September.
