Diversified Greek shipping giant Thenamaris has sold its oldest tanker, an 18-year-old MR.
US brokers said the Martinos family company's 39,000-dwt Searambler (built 2001), which has an ice-class 1A notation, has gone to a Russian buyer for $7.9m.
Thenamaris did not reply to requests for comment and has a standard policy not to discuss commercial matters.
