Theodore Veniamis is believed to have stepped back into the sale-and-purchase market and added a capesize bulker.
Shipbroking sources say the Greek owner’s Golden Union has bought the 180,200-dwt Cape Frontier (built 2006).
It is suggested that the owner has paid Japanese company Shoei Kisen $17.2m for the Koyo built ship.
Sources close to the Greek owner say it inspected the vessel but were unable to confirm if a purchase has been completed.
