Libya's state-owned General National Maritime Transport Co (GNMTC) is in the process of renewing its aframax tanker fleet — replacing early 2000-built units with re-sale newbuildings.
Two of the recently acquired tankers have been reported as fixed out for up to 16 months on subjects at $20,000 per day.
The 114,000-dwt Fezzan (built 2021) is understood to have been taken by Clearlake, and the sistership Anwar Beghazi (built 2021) by Navig8.
