Glencore’s Chemoil has expanded its presence in Australia with plans to commence bunker fuel supply operations in Brisbane.
From 23 June, it will also deploy a bunker barge – the Valiant III – which will be capable of supplying both marine fuel oil and marine gas oil.
Chemoil has signed a long-term terminal storage agreement with GrainCorp, while the barging operations will be undertaken by United Maritime Australia.
