ST Shipping is said to have chartered an MR product tanker for 12 months in one of two recent period deals by the Glencore-controlled tanker operator.
The company has fixed the 49,000-dwt Nord Sustainable (built 2015) from Norden at $13,500 per day with an option for a second year, according to European shipbrokers.
The Danish shipowner, which ordered the tanker from STX Offshore & Shipbuilding in 2013 for $31.5m,
