AN Tankers, a budding ship management outfit that sources say is backed by business provided by George Economou, has put its first known vessel on the water after clients acquired a secondhand product tanker.
Founded in early 2023, the company made its first headline a few months later when TradeWinds revealed that it was behind an order for two 50,000-dwt MR newbuildings at Chengxi Shipyard.
