Singapore’s First Ship Lease Trust (FSL Trust) is starting legal action against the charterer of a tanker stuck in India due to a customs probe.
The shipowner said in December that a sale agreed for the 20,000-dwt FSL London (built 2006) was cancelled after Indian authorities began to investigate the vessel’s cargo specifications at Kandla.
This followed delays in the delivery schedule, FSL added.
