John Fredriksen’s Frontline has sold off all of its shares in one-time takeover target DHT Holdings.
Frontline’s annual report, released last week, said the final stock was sold in the opening quarter of 2018.
Oslo and New York-listed Frontline paid $46.1m for 10.9 million shares in its crude tanker peer in January 2017.
The purchase came amid a hostile takeover attempt which began privately the previous March and played out in public through the first half of 2017.
