A Frontline-linked suezmax tanker has survived a scrape with heavily-armed pirates in the Arabian Sea on Thursday, TradeWinds has learned.
Rocket-propelled grenades were fired at the 153,400-dwt Front Warrior in a position believed to be a couple of hundred miles off Oman, an informed source said.
Pirates in two skiffs are said by knowledgable sources to have opened fire on the 1998-built vessel while it was believed to be en route to Sudan.
