John Fredriksen’s Frontline is not in discussions with Euronav about a potential resurrection of the scrapped merger plan.
The Oslo-listed tanker owner won an emergency arbitration case in Belgium on Tuesday, in which Euronav had sought to halt its exit from the July 2022 combination agreement.
Frontline chief executive Lars Barstad told TradeWinds: “Frontline has deliberately not engaged in any public speculations concerning the termination of the combination agreement between ourselves and Euronav.”
