John Fredriksen’s Ship Finance International has secured a time charter for one of its spot-trading suezmax tankers, sources say.
Oil major Repsol is understood to have fixed the 156,000-dwt Everbright (built 2010) for a year at $23,000 per day.
While Ship Finance is better known for its long-term contract coverage it does have spot exposure in across its tanker, dry cargo and car carrier fleets.
