UK shipowner Union Maritime’s founding Cadji family has taken majority control of the $2bn-plus fleet of tankers and bulkers.
A Companies House filing shows a change of status for the family’s South Central Property, which is listed as having significant control.
On 17 May, South Central increased its Union Maritime holding to more than 50% of the shares, but less than 75%.
