Norwegian finance house Ness, Risan & Partners (NRP), along with a coalition of investors, has signed a five-year bareboat charter deal for two LR1 product tankers with United Arab Chemical Carriers (UACC).
The 73,000-dwt UACC Falcon and UACC Eagle (both built 2009) had been slated to come off seven-year bareboat charters to the Dubai-based shipowner at $13,000 per day per ship this year.
