Veteran shipbroker Louis J Cammarata has died in Florida at the age of 83.
Cammarata may be best known for succeeding the legendary Otto Glander — one of the architects of the WorldScale system — as president of the former New York brokerage CD Mallory & Co in 1977.
Cammarata changed the name to Glander International in 1980, paving the way for it to change from a generalist shop to one of the first dedicated bunker brokerages.
