ExxonMobil has fixed a VLCC newbuilding on a seven-year time charter, reportedly from Korea Line Corp.
European brokers claim the vessel involved is the 300,000-dwt Universal Leader, which is due for delivery from DSME this year.
Brokers believe the charterer has agreed to pay $31,000 per day during the charter period.
