More and larger penalties are in the pipeline for breaching Russian sanctions, the UK’s top enforcer said as he defended dishing out only one fine, of £15,000 ($18,900), since the invasion of Ukraine.
Giles Thomson told UK MPs on Tuesday that he would be “very disappointed” in a year’s time if the fine levied against a property manager was the sole financial penalty imposed.
