Former Brightoil Petroleum boss Sit Kwong Lam has taken a new role with the beleaguered company a month after quitting.
Sit was declared bankrupt in Hong Kong in April and resigned as CEO and chairman.
But the VLCC owner said on Monday he had a signed a deal to become a strategic advisor for a term of three years.
"Dr Sit has over 26 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and acted as the company’s former chairman and executive director from June 2008 to April 2019," it added.
