Evalend Shipping of Greece is moving to triple its VLCC fleet with a newbuilding order.
An executive for the Kriton Lendoudis-led outfit has confirmed the company is behind an order for up to three 300,000-dwt crude tankers at Hyundai Heavy Industries.
HHI disclosed the order to the market on Wednesday but did not reveal its counterparty.
The yard said the deal is for two firm vessels plus one option.
