Eurotankers appears to have fetched a high price in its first vessel sale in nearly two years.
The Gotsis family-controlled tanker and bulker owner has sold the 306,500-dwt Eurohope (built 2007) to Chinese buyers for around $46m, according to broker reports.
Eurotankers has been approached for comment.
