European Navigation has become one of the most aggressive players in an already robust scrapping market for product tankers.
The Athens-based company sold four tankers to cash buyers over the past month, according to London-based brokers. None of the vessels was older than 20 years.
The pace of European Navigation's recycling sales accelerated this month, as scrap values increased to their highest levels in years on the back of rising steel prices.
