The management of Belgian tanker owner Euronav has launched another wide-ranging attack on major shareholder Compagnie Maritime Belge (CMB)’s plans for the tanker giant.
Saverys family-owned shipowner CMB wants to replace the whole supervisory board following the failed merger with John Fredriksen’s Frontline.
The family, which like Fredriksen has a 25% shareholding in Euronav, wants to pursue a diversification and decarbonisation agenda.
