Euronav will pocket a small profit from the sale of its only remaining product tanker.
TradeWinds reported earlier this week the company was selling the 72,000-dwt Genmar Compatriot (built 2004).
Today, Euronav announced the $6.75m disposal would result in a capital gain of $400,000.
It described the Genmar Compatriot as a non-core asset in its fleet, with the tanker one of a brace of LR1s acquired as part of its takeover of Gener8 Maritime last year.
