The Belgian shipowner said the ship, which is jointlyowned with OSG, will be deployed on the Al Shaheen field offshore Qatar.
The contract, which took effect on Monday, includes anoption for MaerskOil Qatar to extend the charter for one or two more years.
Nofinancial details were disclosed, but the charter rate schedule is set to matchthat of the sister vessel FSO Asia which is also on charter to Maersk OilQatar.
