Belgian tanker owner Euronav has revealed it has stopped trading with Russian clients following the Ukraine invasion.

“The company has suspended its operations with Russian customers, which represents an insignificant portion of the company’s turnover,” the New York and Brussels-listed owner said.

The business accounts for less than 5% of revenue, the shipowner added.

The company had been silent until now on the Ukraine war and had not responded to TradeWinds’ questions on the matter earlier in the conflict.
