European Union ambassadors will meet again on Friday to try to strike a deal on new oil price caps just two days before they come into force.
The 27-nation bloc has been unable to reach a decision over two caps for refined oil products, with Poland and the Baltic states pushing for them to be set lower to limit Russian profits from sales.
