KNOT Offshore Partners has revealed that one of its shuttle tankers was returned by its charterer and another suffered engine damage.
The US-listed shipowner, a spin-off of Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers, said Norwegian energy major Equinor declined to exercise its option to extend the charter of the 157,600-dwt shuttle tanker Bodil Knutsen (built 2011).
Based on a redelivery notice received, KNOT Offshore said the charter is currently expected to expire on 9 April 2021.
