The Lemos company Enesel is selling the 319,000-dwt tanker Spyros (built 2007) to another Greek owner, European brokers say.
The ship has fetched some $34.6m which is in line with expectations.
Enesel did not respond to immediate requests for comments.
Spyros is its only trading VLCC, but it has an order for four such units at Hyundai Heavy Industries priced at $83m each.
