Western governments appear to be moving away from imposing a global insurance ban on Russian tankers as Europe faces a growing energy crisis, said French broker Barry Rogliano Salles.
The shift would allow Moscow to seek new markets for its diesel when Europe imposes an embargo on Russian products in early 2023, which could lead to better rates for MRs and LRs, said BRS.
