Norwegian tanker owner Champion Shipping is now a wholly owned Norwegian company after Germany's DVB Bank sold its 9.9% stake to Sparebanken Vest.
The purchase by the Norwegian bank brings its stake to 22.5% in the privately owned shipowner.
The price of the transaction has not been disclosed. The deal means all of the shipowner's equity is in Norwegian hands.
