Crude and product tankers could see double-digit growth in demand in 2023 as Russia’s retaliation against the G7 price cap adds uncertainty to an already complex oil market, according to shipbroker Lorentzen & Co.
The Kremlin issued a new executive order on Tuesday banning sales of oil to foreign companies operating the G7’s price cap starting, adding a further layer of complexity to European companies considering involvement in Russian trades.
