DHT Holdings has drawn on its New York court success over Frontline in response to a second legal assault from the John Fredriksen-led company.
As TradeWinds reported yesterday, Frontline has filed litigation against DHT and its largest shareholder BW Group in the takeover target’s corporate homeland, the Marshall Islands.
The filing is the latest in a series of aggressive steps that also saw Frontline make a renewed offer to merge with DHT along with the full fleet of 11 VLCCs that the takeover target has agreed to buy from BW in a $538m agreement.
